Jan 2nd - Baking away

I continued my food challenge today and made another small dent in the pantry and fridge. 

Here are the items I made and what ingredients I used today:

Breakfast: 
- Oatmeal
     *oats
     *milk
     *butter

Lunch:
- "Pizza"
     *homemade dough using 1 pack of yeast, sea salt, all purpose flour and oil from the pantry
     *the sauce was half the jar of potato/cauliflower soup
     *the meatballs cut up were the topping
     *half of the piece of Parmesan cheese shredded on top


Snack for kids:
- 2 graham crackers
- some prunes (I forgot to list that yesterday)
- the baby food prunes from the fridge
- the small container of leftover oatmeal from breakfast

Dinner:
- 2 loaves of homemade Wheat Bread and a pre-made mix for one more loaf
     *ground flaxseed (including making some more from flax seeds in pantry)
     *some of the yeast from the jar in the fridge
     *maple syrup from the fridge
     *all the whole wheat flour
     *some all purpose flour
     *rye flour
     *sea salt
- Multigrain bread (from mix in pantry)
- Tuna Salad for adults
     *4 cans of tuna (made enough for 2 days)
     *mayo
     *relish
- Liverpate for some of the kids' sandwiches
- Cream cheese for the rest of the kids' sandwiches

Dessert:
- homemade Lemon Mousse (6 servings) 
     *1 cup of whipping cream
     *2 lemons from fridge
     *sugar from pantry
     *2/3 of the gelatin package from the pantry
- homemade Mango Mousse (4 servings)
     *1/2 cup of whipping cream
     *some of the mango juice from the freezer
     *sugar from the pantry
     *1/3 of the gelatin package from the pantry

Other items made:
- 1 lb pinto beans put into crock pot to cook overnight
- Oatmeal Waffles for future breakfasts
     *Oats
     *Oil 
     *baking powder
     *3 eggs
     *sea salt
- hot cocoa 
     *milk
     *cocoa
     *sugar
     *whipping cream
